Emily and Scott Visit!

This last week Dustin's sister, Emily, and her husband, Scott came to visit. They came last year as well, that they had such a fun time that they had to come down again!

So of course we had to hit some major theme parks right???
So this last Wednesday we headed to Universal's Island's Adventure:

The Tower at the entrance:

Waiting in long lines, Thomas was a trouper, he waited at all the lines but didn't get to ride one single roller-coaster{ in a few more years little man}. At Universal they have this thing where they have child swap so you can all wait in line at the same time, than right before you get on the ride part of the party goes in a room with the child and waits till the other people go on the ride, than you switch, I love this feature because you only have to wait in line all together once, instead waiting in line twice separate times, makes it go by a lot quicker.

Love Thomas' long, wavy. blonde hair?

The first place we hit of course, was Harry Potter World and drank a lot of Butterbeer. Dustin and I have found a good spot to get it. If you go through Hogshead instead of outside barrels, the line is WAY quicker and it's a fresher batch of Butterbeer (which makes a huge difference) so heads up if you ever go.

Every Flavor Bott's Beans at Honeydukes:

After riding all the Marvel roller-coasters like the Incredible Hulk we were all in the mood to watch Avengers in the theaters that night, so that's what we did! I liked the movie a lot, but it wasn't the best movie ever made like every one on Facebook said.

Than Thursday we headed to SeaWorld, and Scott and Emily were kind enough to take some pictures of us while we were there, we just got a few because Dustin had to go to work right after we got there.

Than this last weekend I was planning on going down to the Keys with Scott and Emily, but Thomas had just had it with traveling and not having a normal schedule this last month that recently he's been more grumpy and waking up at nights, and both of us have this nasty cold that has worn us out that we decided to stay here, which I was very bummed about, but it turned out to be a good thing because this last weekend I also think I caught a 24-hour bug, so we would have just been miserable down there, so it was a good thing we didn't go. Maybe next time!

So we have been just chilling here this weekend and Emily and Scott are coming back today from the Keys and leaving tomorrow so we will miss them but we've had so much fun having them here.
Being away from both of our families we LOVE having visitors!
So any visitors are always welcomed!

My ?? Birthday!

So this year I turned ahem...23... ahem I know that isn't old, doesn't mean I don't like my number going up.
I might not like my number going up, but I still like having Birthdays!!! This year was a lot of fun, Dustin made sure I felt special.
Since my birthday was on a Sunday we celebrated it a little different, we celebrated on Wednesday because that was Dustin's day off, and we had a blast, BUT I accidentally deleted the pictures of the day, I'm so SAD, because there were some good ones. O well, I can't dwell on it...
Anyway, on Wednesday Dustin and I were originally thinking about going to Busch Gardens, which is another theme park, but things didn't turn out so we went to Universal instead! Harry Potter World? Yes, please!
We spend most of the day in the park and we had a lot of fun of course! We started at Harry Potter World which was CRAZY busy, we didn't anticipated the crowd, I guess some people are on spring break. But to give you an idea to get to Hogwarts it was a 3 hour wait, and the line was going towards other parts of the park (outside of HP world). To get Butter beer was half hour wait, luckily we found a secret spot and got ours in no time! Also this time we tried pumpkin juice for the first time, and surprisingly I liked it.

Also we went to go see Ollivander, which we never have done because there is always a huge line, but today it wasn't too bad and since everything else was crazy we decided to do it, and it was WAY cool, better than I thought it would be. Ollivander was awesome, and it was so fun to see him pick a kid to try out a wands, and they had it so a few times they tried a spell something crazy would happen, like shelves breaking.. and such, than a wand "would pick the wizard" and he would tell the child what the wand was made of. To see the little girl's excitement was priceless. Ok, I just love HPW, I don't know why but I was talking to Dustin about it while we were slurping down our butterbeer goodness, the place just makes me happy, and I feel like a kid in a candy store.
After that we hit many of the other tractions, we went on the Jurassic Park ride and got wet, than Dustin had me get a caricature done, and first I wasn't that interested since I get drawn a lot by Dustin and some of his friends, but Dustin knew this guy and said he was really good, well I'm glad I did because I think it's hilarious, it's a good thing I have a good sense of humor, because it's not the most flattering but it made me laugh.  And the guy gave it to us for FREE because it was my Birthday (sorta)!

Than we hit the Spiderman ride because they just enhanced it, and that one is always a fun one. We also hit the Dr. Suess section for Thomas he loved it, they have a lot of fun interacting sections, and they had a carousel that Thomas wasn't sure about for a while, until the last second than he smiled.... of course... in the end.
Later that night we went to Kobe's Japanese steak house, and it was AMAZING and so much fun! Also if it's your birthday you get your meal free and they give you a cup cake and sing Happy Birthday to you. They also cook your food right there on your table and our chef was so funny and entertaining, Thomas loved it! He would sing and flip his spatulas all over and start things on fire and sing "happy birthday to you" in the heaviest Japanese accent, it was very entertaining. But the best part was the food, everything was soooooo good! If you ever go to Orlando I would highly recommend going to this place!

Than Friday we had little birthday dinner with the Williams, I forgot my camera so no pictures, but Brie made these AMAZING cupcakes and they sang happy birthday and had me blow out the candle.  I'm really going to miss these guys when we move....

Than Sunday, my actual birthday Dustin got me a cake, he told me not to expect much, and I was wondering what he meant, than he showed me the cake with the candles and I loved it!!! He was worried that I would be disappointed about the size, but he saw these candles that he knew I would love them (boy, does he know me well, because the first thing I said was "I love the candles!!!! They are so cute!") and he wanted the candles to look good on the cake and the only one that looked good was the white little cake, I personally think he made a good choice because I went off about the cute candles for a good little while. Than he let me open some presents, and the wrapping was priceless he couldn't find the scotch tape so it was duck tape, NICE!  My favorite gift he got me was a gift card to Amazon Kindle to get more books, O YES!

It was a great birthday thanks to family and friends, and especially Dustin!
I'm looking forward to my 23rd year!

Dustin's Family Visits!

Right now Dustin's parents and grandparents are here in Orlando for a visit!!! We've been having a great time. Dustin's mom came this past Wednesday so we have been going to SeaWorld and hitting all the outlet malls. Than this weekend Dustin's dad and grandparents came up and we have been having fun hanging out at their resort, going to SeaWorld and Universal. Tomorrow I'm really excited about because we are going to swim at the resort and just relax and hang out all day, than later  to 4 Rivers Smokehouse for lunch, which is soooo yummy!

Living in Florida we have been missing our family so it's been great that we have had many visitors since we have moved here,  so keep coming family and friends!

Blogger's Block

So I have been having a blogger's block the last week, hence the lack of blogging, I just haven't really had anything to say, life seems to calm down a little since the holidays so I really couldn't think anything to write about.
But this week was a lot of fun, this last weekend Dustin & I were spoiled with great friends and great dinners. On Friday we had dinner with the Williams, which is always a delight and sooo much laughter, and of course great food (we do a lot of the William's I need to start taking pictures of all the fun times with them). Than Saturday we went to Churrascaria at Universal with the WIlliam's and the St. Clair's to celebrate us winning the best decorated garage from Halloween. It was sooo fun, since Adam works at Universal we had valet parking (yes, I felt like an important person or something), but that wasn't the best part, the food was aMAzEIng! It was a all you can eat Brazilian Grill, and they brought the food to you , all you had to do is flip this coaster-like thing on the green side and they just keep bringing you all the meats to try out. Oh my goodness it was so good, and I felt like royalty there, I ask for food and they brought it too me, I could live like that everyday. Not only was the food good, but just hanging out was a lot of fun, there is always laughter when we hang out with our friends. Afterwards it was so hard to move (I wore maternity pants because I knew I would want the extra room). Than today, or yesterday since it's after 12, we had dinner with the Denham's and it too was so good, I'm pretty sure I put on three pounds this weekend, my sunday dress was a little tighter this week, oops.... it was a tasty weekend for the Clark's.

Since I didn't have pictures of the weekend I decided to post pictures of Thomas, my favorite subject to photograph, but it's hard to get a good picture of this kid, he's always on the move.
A little update about Thomas....
he loves drinking juice or milk and cuddling with me while watching a movie ( I love it)
He's favorite movie is Despicable Me, he will watch the one thing, it's really funny because he will dance to the music and laugh at the minions.
He has no interested in walking, but I'm not worried because when he wants to, one day he will just do it, he's been like that with all the stages, when he decides he wants to learn something he will figure it out in one day and be off.

Some exciting things we are looking forward to this month is Dustin's parents and grandparents are coming to visit us! I can't wait!

Scrapbooking paper is of course designed by my AMAZING sis-in law Crystal Wilkerson.

Family Visit

Here are some pictures from the visit from my brother, Paul and his family that I mentioned earlier. They are kinda random order, but thanks to my sis-in-law we got some pictures since Dustin had the camera at his art convention.  So enjoy.
Thomas at Harry Potter World, he loved Butterbeer this trip, I couldn't feed it to him fast enough.

Paul and I after the big drop in the Jurassic Park ride, we got pretty wet.
Inside Hogwarts, one of my favorite things to do.

Meeting Mickey before Thomas cries.

Worn out in Universal.

I love this picture of Thomas. Thanks Brie!

At Disney, I had to take a picture by Little Mermaid for my mom, because when I was little I watched that show so much that still today my mom can't stand that movie.

Thomas & I eating at Pinnochio's haus (I think that's what it's called.)

In Universal, heading to Harry Potter World, I still get way excited even though  I was just there the week before.

BATH TIME!!! I love both of their faces! This is my niece Susanna.

Paul, Brie, and Susanna at Universal.

One of my favorite roller coasters in Orlando, this was right after Paul and I went on it.

Cinderella's castle at Christmas, beautiful.

Hanging out in our apartment.

Fun Pictures of the cousins!

I had so much fun with Paul and Brie!
