Elizabeth Turns 3!

Little Miss Elizabeth turned 3 this week. Elizabeth has been looking forward to her birthday for a long time now. She had a great day, we opened presents first thing that morning then some friends did a little birthday parade for her since we are to social distance during this time and the girl loved it! Then we had Mcdonald's and cake. This girl loves everything girly so she loved all the girly stuff. We are so lucky to Elizabeth in our lives.

Quarantine Life

Well I would never have thought we would be stuck in our house for a while because of a disease, but here we are. We had spring break the week before the crazy hit in America so my kids have been home from school about a month now. We are just finishing are third week of home school and it's going better than I thought, the kids have been more relaxed this last week and I have to remind them to stay on task but it's still pretty good. Dustin takes the kids out almost every day to play soccer and the kids love it.
We have been doing pretty good, better than most. Dustin started working from home right away and that's been nice since his work load has been cut in half but we are still getting paid. Surprisingly our art jobs haven't slowed down, my photography has stopped, which I'm 100% ok with that. We were also lucky during the food shortage, luckily I realized people were getting nervous, and this was before I was taking it seriously, I decided to order groceries the following day with two weeks worth of food. Then that night I saw what was going on in Italy and started realizing that it was pretty serious, then the next day when I went to get my groceries for pick up it was a mad house and the wait was crazy, so I decided to go into the store to check for the things that were "out of stock" on my order and went into the store got the rest of the food but people were definitely acting scared, it was such a weird atmosphere, but I got enough food before everything was gone. The grocery store still feels weird, crazy times for sure but I'm grateful that my family is safe and in one house during this time.
