TWO MORE MONTHS!!!!

Our wedding announcement

In two months from today Dustin and I will be married! I can't wait!!!!! Today was an exciting day because I got our announcement samples in the mail, and it was fun to see the announcements! My sister-in-law did an amazing job!!!! Also today and work I received a little surprise from Dustin, there were gerber daisies on my desk and a note saying he wished he was here with me and that we just have two more months until we are sealed together!!!! Again, Dustin does something for me!!!
The wedding plans are going really well, we just booked our luncheon at the Joseph Smith building, my dress is getting cleaned and pressed, the announcements are getting printed, we have our stuff set for the apartment. Pretty much everything is done but a few odds and ends! So things are going great besides the distance thing, it's been really hard.
Another exciting thing is my brother and his cute little family is coming next week! And I can't wait! I'm greatly blessed!

What We Have Been Up To.

Me and the pile kitchen stuff I have been collecting!
Michael, Dustin, and Ashley at the Baptism

So here are some things we have been up to the last week (I'm trying to blog better).  This last week I started packing some things in my room, I know, it might seem early but I'm really excited to be getting married to Dustin, also between school and getting things ready for our apartment I decided to start doing some of it now or it won't get done. So I started packing stuff I don't use everyday such as my collection of books, and I'm embarrassed to say, I have filled two boxes and I got maybe half my books!  I love books but I didn't realize that much! But between my art books, children's books, and just books I enjoy, they start collecting..... part of me is wondering how I'm going to pack all 20 years of my life... but I will have to manage.
Also this week I was able to go to the store with my mom and buy some kitchen stuff, I'm so lucky to have my mom to help me get ready for my next adventure in life. That was way fun, it's crazy how depending where you are in life certain things are exciting, like a year ago I would never thought buying kitchen stuff would be this exciting! But it is!!!
Another amazing thing happened this week my niece Ashley (on Dustin's side) got baptized! Sadly I wasn't there but Dustin and his family had the chance to go. It's so neat to have the gospel in our lives and what amazing thing to have the Holy Ghost in our lives! And I'm so excited for Ashley to be a new member of this church.
Than today, I had a little surprise that I didn't expect. I got a letter from Dustin! I can't believe what a blessing he has been in my life, he has been there for me every time. Last night I was really down and he text me all night until I started feeling better, even through texts he knew something was wrong. And than today I get this letter, and it seriously made my week! He wrote me about the first time he met me and how he felt and how he feels about me today. And than there was a check for me, because I have been struggling with money lately because of school, art supplies, and many other things and I have been expressing that to him this last little bit. And I couldn't help but cry, I have never been treated so well in my life, I didn't know what to say? Than he gave me an extra ten dollars that he insisted that I use for me and only me. Really, I don't know what to say to that? Only that I have been truly blessed and the Lord knew exactly who I needed for my eternal companion and I have never been happier!!!

My Trip!!!!!

Last week I went back to Pennsylvania to visit Dustin and I had a blast! It was sooo much fun! The first couple of days we stayed at Dustin's house and helped his mom clean the house a little, than we saw some Amish and we ate at an amazing pretzel place and ice cream place!
Than on Wednesday we went to New York City! It was my first time there and it was so fun! First Dustin and I woke up early to leave from Pennsylvania and go to Staten Island to take the ferry to New York, but we took some wrong turns and ended up driving in the city... It was CraZy! But really fun, Dustin was going all over the road and people honking everywhere. Well we finally found the ferry, and that was fun. I got to see the statue of liberty, than we saw the Society Illustrators (which was my favorite), than we went to Central park, time square, and many other things! We tried to get into to Wicked but we didn't win the lottery but it's ok we still had fun looking at all the amazing stores.
Than on Thursday we went to DC, went to Cheese Cake Factory  and we saw all the monuments at night! Which is so fun to do at night! Than the next day we went to the Holocaust museum and some art museums! It was so fun but I hated leaving!
Dustin is so much fun, I'm so lucky to be with him, he is such a blessing in my life! I can't wait to marry him! 104 more days, but who is counting!

Just playing around!

Lots of hours on the phone with Dustin, eating a lot of fruit snacks, some exercising and working, and a lot of photo shop you pretty much summed up my seven week break! Basically that's all I have been doing and it's been pretty fun just taking things easy for a while. Anyway the last couple of weeks I have really gotten into editing pictures so here are some examples of techniques I have learned the last little bit. I also have ordered a book to teach me more techniques and I'm planning on taking a photography class this January and I'm hoping I can do some photography in the side. Anyway I plan on putting up more later!

OUR FIRST COUCH!!!!

So today I bought our first couch for our first apartment! I was super excited! It was the first time that I have bought furniture in my life and it was red!!! Which I was very excited about because everything I own is black, so our apartment will have a black and red theme to it! Also I was really excited that this couch was only thirty dollars! Also this couch is SUPER comfortable I already love it!!!! I also showed pictures to Dustin and he liked it too! I love it, since he is artistic like me he doesn't mind having crazy colors in apartment! Buying this couch also made me excited because it made it seem more real that I was getting married! I can't wait to put this in our apartment!

The last little bit.....

Well school is finally over and surprisingly  Dustin and I got good grades since people always say that the semester that your engaged you get bad grades.  This last week has been really nice not having homework, I have been going to school straight since last July so I was a little burned out.
The sad thing about having school out is that Dustin had to leave. He left this morning so we said our goodbyes last night and it was super hard and I definitely didn't like it. But this morning I thought I was the "sweet" one when I put sticky notes on his car saying how much I love him and miss him; than I go to my car this morning and there is a rose, snickers, powerade, and some funky cups that I have wanted for the last month or so, and this funny, hideous painting that he did of us! I couldn't help but laugh and cry! He means the world to me and he always does so much for me and I'm going to really miss him.

But some good news we finally set a date for the wedding! It's going to be December 22 at the Salt Lake Temple! I'm super excited because the Salt Lake temple is my favorite temple and I always wanted to get married there, also it will be gorgeous with the snow and Christmas lights. Now it's just a matter of getting ready and counting down.

Final Cake!

This is my final cake that I did in my cake decorating class, it was fun to make but very hard at the same time. I wished I took pictures earlier because the cake started to sink in because my people were heavy on the cake. Cake decorating class was fun but I'm glad that it's done.

Fourth of July Weekend

This Fourth of July Weekend was super fun!  I was able to meet my in-laws for the first time and I had a blast! I'm very lucky to  have good in-laws! And now I have younger siblings, so I'm way excited about that!
Dustin and I went down to Logan, Utah on Friday and got the opportunity to meet some uncles and aunts and his grandparents. Than Saturday we went to Malad, Idaho (my first time there, I didn't know there was anything in Malad) and we went to the parade and I finally meet Dustin's family, and I love them to pieces!!!! Than we went to the park and played games and eat!!
The following day we celebrated his Grandmother's 70th birthday and that was loads of fun as well.
I had a lot of fun over the weekend that it was hard to return to school.

Dustin and I at the parade, it was really bright and sunny! Also we have matching shirts with everyone in the family which helped a lot because it helped me know who belonged in the family!

Cake Decorating

This semester I'm taking a cake decorating class, and it's a fun class I just never have time to work on my cakes so they always turn out  bad. Here is a cake that I did the other day. This cake was really rushed because I had a friend that accidently took all my cake supplies and  I didn't see her for a whole week, that I didn't get my stuff until the night before so I spent late hours on it, and when it's three in the morning you don't really care what the cakes looks like.

Than another time we had to make cookies and give them to people so Dustin and I made some sugar cookies to give to his roommates... and I think we ate most of them.

Some more Engagements!

These were near the end of the photo shoot, and I think we just had it, but these are some of my favorites.

These are some other engagements. Our photographer was awesome, he sent us the first 30 edited and now he gave us all the originals, so these are not edited, so I don't look perfect, ha ha just kidding. But here some I thought were fun and cute. But there were so many so I can't put all of them up.
