Last month Texas was hit by a crazy snow storm. Many people lost power and water. Luckily we had power but our water was low and we were under boiling water order. Our phones and internet didn't work for a few days so that was fun. Even though it was crazy times we had fun with the kids. We got to play with snow everyday for a few days.
This past Christmas was a good one. I really like having Christmas in our home. For Christmas Eve between Dustin and I, we invited a few people who would have been alone if we didn't invite them and it turned out great. We have been truly blessed in the year 2020 and I was happy to "pay it forward" in my small way.
Christmas morning of course was fun. Our kids are at that awesome age when Christmas is so magical. I think being a parent during Christmas is the best.

In the month of December we took the kids to the Arboretum. We haven't been to the Arboretum during Christmas for years since it's always busy during December. I'm so glad we went, it was super cute, every "store" had a treat for the kids. There was a post office and the kids could write to Santa. We want to go again next year, or this year.... but during the night with all the lights.
