Spring Break

Couple of weeks ago we had spring break. Most of the week we just hung around but one day we went to Dallas and checked out the art museum and the Perot. I love how Dallas has a lot of fun things for a family to do. 

Also that week we went camping with my brother and his family. I didn't take that many pictures because I was too busy chasing Elizabeth the whole time, but the kids had fun and thought it was the best thing ever.

Baby #5

It's old news for most, but I had to put it on the good old blog here, but baby #5 is on the way and it's a girl! We are very excited, at least most of us, Peter wanted a baby brother, but I think he will live.

Dallas Zoo

It's been cold for what seems like forever here and Texas so I feel like the two little ones have been stuck in the house a lot, so one day when we had a warmish day and we went to the zoo before their half off days were over. This is my favorite thing to do as a parent, taking my kids to little outings and it seems like we haven't done it for ages.

Birthday Week

January is always crazy with two birthdays in a week.  Peter turned 4 and Oliver turned 6. 

Peter has become more independent the last few months and is always up for fun.

Oliver is come along way with his reading and he continues to do really well in math. 

I love these boys of mine.

Thomas's Baptism

Last month Thomas got baptized. It's so crazy to me that I have an eight year old! We are so proud of Thomas, he's really an awesome kid and I can't wait to see what he does with his life. His baptism was perfect and I was so grateful for all those who came to support him.

Christmas 2018

Christmas was a lot fun this year. We were able to spend some time with both my family and Dustin's.
Christmas eve day we celebrated Jesus birthday with Dustin's parents and grandmother and did gift exchange. My in-laws got my kids the Nintendo switch they were pretty excited about that.

Then Christmas Eve we stayed at my brother's house where my parents and another sister and her family was staying. We had yummy food, played games,  did the nativity. opened pjs, and some last minute wrapping. The kids had a lot of fun sharing Christmas with their cousins. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures, I was just trying to enjoy the moment.

December Snapshots

Running a little behind here...
Just two snapshots from December. December was crazy because it seemed like every week I was helping or in charge of some activity at church so this is it.
Peter one day was watching TV like that ha ha. Then Dustin and I celebrated our ninth anniversary last month. We went to Salt Grass steak house then went to the Galleria mall and went ice skating and stayed to watch the ice skating show. It was fun to hang out a few hours with no life interruptions.
