Alice at 2 Months

Alice at two months. At two months she was finally letting me put her down and started sleeping better in her bed. She has the cutest smile and baby sounds. She does not like tummy time and I haven't been very good about it because Elizabeth likes to help a little too much. She's probably my biggest mommy's kid so far; she tolerates other people but loves being held by me. It's probably because I know her crooked angled position she likes to cuddle in, since she was crooked basically the whole time I was pregnant with her. We love having her and she brings so much joy to our family.

Alice: One Month

August and September Snapshots

Running behind on the blog here. Here are a few snapshots of August ans September. Dustin and I got to see an awesome art exhibit of many Monet paintings, it was really awesome and breathtaking. And a few shots of the three little ones, I need to start taking more pictures of Thomas and Oliver, it's just hard when they are in school, but both kids are doing awesome at school.

Alices's Blessing Day

A couple of weeks ago we blessed Alice in our home. It was a special day and we were lucky that both of our parents were able to make it. In her blessing it mentioned that she was much loved in her family and that is very true.

Back to School

Three weeks ago Thomas and Oliver started school. We went to Meet the Teachers night and both teachers seem really awesome.

The first day of school was a little rough with these two. They were used to grandma, Dustin, and their two older brothers for entertainment, so we had a few melt downs but the last two weeks have been better thank goodness!

Also Thomas has glasses now and I personally think they look really good on him. He would only wear them while watching tv or during class when he needed to read the bored but between everyone saying they looked good on him, my mom calling him a blonde Harry Potter, and seeing a lot of his cousins wearing glasses he wears them all the time now.

Alice's First Few Days

Alice is greatly loved from her older siblings, the first few days she was always held by someone and it was always a fight to see who got to hold her. Luckily it isn't as bad now but I still have to share my newborn cuddle time with the kids. Elizabeth has had a few meltdowns because her world has changed and we've had to say "no" a lot the last few days, she wants to be the mother and helper and she doesn't quite grasp that Alice can't be held like her dolls but we are slowly learning.
