Dallas Arboretum

 

We always have a great time at the Pumpkin houses at the Arboretum. It was fun going with all the kids, usually I go on a week day because I don't want to go when it's busy but because of Covid they only let so many people at a time so we decided to brave it out on a Saturday. It was still busy but it was a lot of fun, the kids have already asked when they can go again.

First Day of School

 

The kid's first day of school during Covid. They loved it, and so far school is going great. The two younger boys don't have to wear masks but Thomas does, at first he was bummed out but he said he's used to it now. We are excited to see how this school year will go.

Meet the Teachers

 

A few weeks ago I took all five kids solo to Meet the Teachers. I'm sure I was a sight to see, I had Alice in a stroller with Oliver pushing it and then a wagon to carry all the school supplies and the all the kids, but I made it!

The kids were excited to meet their teachers and see their school again. We were also excited to get Mrs. Hector again for Peter.

The Girl's Room

 

 

A few months ago we changed the toy room to the girl's room. At first Elizabeth was sad to not share a bedroom with the boys, but when we started decorating it all cute she loved it. The girl's have had a great time sharing a room, and its so fun to see them play in there.

Alice's First Birthday

 

We celebrated Alice's birthday with Family. It was a great day.

Alice is One!

 

Miss Alice turned one last Friday. I can't believe how fast that year went. She's the sweetest baby. She takes a while to warm up to people but when she does she loves to cuddle. She likes to wrestle with her siblings and she loves baby dolls. She isn't walking yet but she can crawl really fast so I always have to keep an eye on her. We just adore her in this house.

Summer Trip

The month of July we traveled to Arizona, Utah, and Idaho.

I didn't take a lot of pictures but here are a few.

We went by Arizona on the way North and on the way back to hang out with one of my sisters and her family. Then we headed to Utah to see my parent's new home. It was weird coming home in Utah versus in Rexburg. The house is beautiful and we spend many evening sitting on the porch enjoying the evenings. Then we headed to Idaho Falls for Dustin's family reunion.We did many fun activities like going to Bear World, Big Jud's, White Water Rafting, and many other things. The kids had a lot of fun paying with cousins everyday for almost a month.

This was the first time Thomas went White Water Rafting and he loved it!

Lara and I took the little kids to the zoo while everyone went White Water Rafting.

We had a lemonade stand to raise money for OUR to help rescue children.

 

We went to Lake with Paul and Bri.
