The last little bit.....

Well school is finally over and surprisingly  Dustin and I got good grades since people always say that the semester that your engaged you get bad grades.  This last week has been really nice not having homework, I have been going to school straight since last July so I was a little burned out.
The sad thing about having school out is that Dustin had to leave. He left this morning so we said our goodbyes last night and it was super hard and I definitely didn't like it. But this morning I thought I was the "sweet" one when I put sticky notes on his car saying how much I love him and miss him; than I go to my car this morning and there is a rose, snickers, powerade, and some funky cups that I have wanted for the last month or so, and this funny, hideous painting that he did of us! I couldn't help but laugh and cry! He means the world to me and he always does so much for me and I'm going to really miss him.

But some good news we finally set a date for the wedding! It's going to be December 22 at the Salt Lake Temple! I'm super excited because the Salt Lake temple is my favorite temple and I always wanted to get married there, also it will be gorgeous with the snow and Christmas lights. Now it's just a matter of getting ready and counting down.

Final Cake!

This is my final cake that I did in my cake decorating class, it was fun to make but very hard at the same time. I wished I took pictures earlier because the cake started to sink in because my people were heavy on the cake. Cake decorating class was fun but I'm glad that it's done.

Fourth of July Weekend

This Fourth of July Weekend was super fun!  I was able to meet my in-laws for the first time and I had a blast! I'm very lucky to  have good in-laws! And now I have younger siblings, so I'm way excited about that!
Dustin and I went down to Logan, Utah on Friday and got the opportunity to meet some uncles and aunts and his grandparents. Than Saturday we went to Malad, Idaho (my first time there, I didn't know there was anything in Malad) and we went to the parade and I finally meet Dustin's family, and I love them to pieces!!!! Than we went to the park and played games and eat!!
The following day we celebrated his Grandmother's 70th birthday and that was loads of fun as well.
I had a lot of fun over the weekend that it was hard to return to school.

Dustin and I at the parade, it was really bright and sunny! Also we have matching shirts with everyone in the family which helped a lot because it helped me know who belonged in the family!

Cake Decorating

This semester I'm taking a cake decorating class, and it's a fun class I just never have time to work on my cakes so they always turn out  bad. Here is a cake that I did the other day. This cake was really rushed because I had a friend that accidently took all my cake supplies and  I didn't see her for a whole week, that I didn't get my stuff until the night before so I spent late hours on it, and when it's three in the morning you don't really care what the cakes looks like.

Than another time we had to make cookies and give them to people so Dustin and I made some sugar cookies to give to his roommates... and I think we ate most of them.

Some more Engagements!

These were near the end of the photo shoot, and I think we just had it, but these are some of my favorites.

These are some other engagements. Our photographer was awesome, he sent us the first 30 edited and now he gave us all the originals, so these are not edited, so I don't look perfect, ha ha just kidding. But here some I thought were fun and cute. But there were so many so I can't put all of them up.

How did I get so lucky?????

This past week Dustin has done a lot for me!!!!!!! I don't know how I got so lucky to be with him. I have been in a lot of stress the last few weeks and he seriously has sticked with me through the thick and thin and I can't thank him enough. He has done so much for me this last week.
Every Tuesday and Thursday I have a late class that goes till 9p.m. and a lot of the time I'm way hungry about time I get out of that class. Well this last Thursday Dustin brought me dinner during the class and there was a note in the paper sack thanking me for making his day and that he loves me!!!!! And I'm always blown away how sweet he is.
Also this last week I have been sick, like really sick. I have probably lost at least 5 pounds this week, and haven't been myself lately. When I'm in a lot of stress my body tends to just shut down and not function well; and just between school, engagement, and just daily life I think my body just had it for this week.
Well this last Saturday when I woke up I was in a lot of pain, I could barely move that I decided to stay home and not go to school and draw. Well, being as lucky as I am, Dustin came over to just visit me, but he not only came but he brought with him some gerber daisies and a note wishing me to start feeling better!! He's such a gem, I really don't know how I got this lucky! I'm truly blessed!

The First Couple of Weeks of School

The first couple of weeks of school have been busy. It's been crazy trying to get everything done in a day between school, work, and wedding plans. Many people have warned Dustin and I that people generally fail the semester they are engaged, so we are determined to prove people wrong. So we have been in the art building almost every single night trying to get our projects done! So I'm already burnt out ha ha!
But this semester is going really well and really fun besides being busy. I'm taking Intro to Illustration, Head drawing(again), Shakespeare, D&C, and a Cake Decorating class.
Cake Decor class is really fun, hard, but fun. But I'm learning some really neat techniques in baking and decorating. The class is also a very humbling experience because I'm not very good. My first cake turned out ok, I would never give it to someone, but I did learn a lot and I think I will do better next time. But I will admit the cake was very good even though it didn't look good.
While Dustin and I were eating it, I must admit we were having too much fun having a little food fight! I attacked him a lot better than he did to me!!

Pictures of us after the cake fight! I seriously love Dustin sooooo much! He is soooo good to me!

The cake and me laughing about it because I was so embarrassed how it looked.
The cake, yeah... let's hope I get better. Also notice the pb&j sandwiches on the side, that's what Dustin survives on.

Working in the Spori building as always.... determined to keep up the good grades while we are engaged!!

So he Proposed again....but this time with the Ring!

About a week ago Dustin proposed but the ring wasn't ready so this last week I was wearing a fake one. Well, to make a long story short, the ring took a really long time to be done. Finally yesterday the ring was done!!!!! So Dustin comes in my head drawing class and proposes to me again in class! I was super happy.... again.... and said yes again...! It was great! I loved it!!!!! The ring is gorgeous, prettier than I anticipated and a lot bigger than I anticipated! But I LOVE IT!
So yesterday was another great day! Dustin can always bring a smile on my face!

He Popped the Question and I Said Yes!!!!

Today has been one of the greatest days of my life!!!! Dustin proposed to me!!!! I have never been happier!!!!! Dustin truly brings joy in my life, the last few months he has become my best friend! I don't know how I got so lucky to have the opportunity to spent all eternities with him!
So you want to know how he did it?
Well.... here we go....
This morning we decided to go hike the R Mountain to watch the sunrise. When Dustin came to pick me up he had gerber daisies with him, Boy, what a great way to start the day. When we were on our way to the R mountain we decided to just watch the sunrise in Beaver Dick Park because the sun was rising a lot faster than we anticipated. We sat on a dock by the river and it was just gorgeous, there was fog everywhere, and all you could hear were the ducks in the distance. Dustin brought his guitar with him and said that he had a song that he wanted to sing to me because it reminds him of me. The song was called:

She's Got a Way

She's got a way about her
I don't know what it is
But I know that I can't live without her

She's got a way of pleasin'
I don't know why it is
But there doesn't have to be a reason
Anyway

She's got a smile that heals me
I don't know what it is
But I have to laugh when she reveals me

She's got a way of talkin'
I don't know what it is
But it lifts me up when we are walkin'
Anywhere

She comes to me when I'm feelin' down
Inspires me without a sound
She touches me and I get turned around

She's got a way of showin'
How I make her feel
And I find the strength to keep on goin'

She's got a light around her
And everywhere she goes
A million dreams of love surround her
Everywhere

She comes to me when I'm feelin' down
Inspires me without a sound
She touches me and I get turned around

She's got a smile that heals me
I don't know what it is
But I have to laugh when she reveals me

She's got a way about her
I don't know what it is
But I know that I can't live without her
Anyway

After the song he said that he added another verse, than he goes on his knee and he started singing this to me:

Jessica will you marry me?
I love you so much
I'll do my best to make you happy
Together for all eternity
It's a dream come true
We will make our own eternal family
You and me, what do you say?

And of course I said YES!!!!!!!
Than he went to give me a ring and apologized that it wasn't the ring that I picked out because my ring was not ready yet, so he pulled out a 25 cent ring that he got from a venting machine, but I still loved it! I told him I didn't care as long as the ring was from him! After that we celebrated with sparkling cider and plastic cups! I couldn't stop smiling after that!
Than afterwards we had the opportunity to call and text everyone the great news! I also had the opportunity to talk to Dustin's parents for the first time over the phone, I was nervous at first, but once I got talking with them, I fell in love with them right away! I'm super excited to meet them and be part of their family!!!!!!!!
I'm super excited about getting married to the most amazing guy in the whole world!
